Notes on the Rites: The service is conducted in the standard/annual tune.

Midnight Praise

1. The Doxology for the occasion is chanted before the Doxology of St Mary.
2. The appropriate psali (Adam or Watos) for the occasion is chanted before the psali of the day.

The Offering of Morning Incense

The service is prayed as usual, in the standard/annual tune, with the following observations:

1. The verses of the occasion are added to the Verses of the Cymbals before the verse for St Mary.
2. The Doxology for the occasion is chanted before the doxology for St Mary.
3. After “Evnoti Nai Nan” the prophecies are read without prostrations “Eklinomen Taghonata”.
4. The Litany of the gospel is prayed, followed by the response for the occasion.
5. The concluding hymn is chanted as in the standard/annual days.

The Divine Liturgy

The service is prayed as usual, in the standard/annual tune, with the following observations:

1. The third and sixth hours of the Agpeya are prayed.
2. The hymn “Alleluia Fai Pepi” is chanted.
3. The Acts Response for the occasion is chanted after the verse for St Mary.
4. The Litany of the gospel is prayed, followed by the response for the occasion.
5. The Adam Aspasmos for the occasion may be chanted.
6. The Fraction for the Lord’s Feast is prayed.
7. After Psalm 150, the hymn “Lazaros Amou Evol” may be chanted in the tune of “Je Efesmarout” (standard melodies).
8. The concluding hymn is chanted as in the standard/annual days.
